The intern’s employer must sign a contract agreeing to serve as a field education site with a Limestone University intern. This will be demonstrated by signing the AAA form that will be provided along with the Agreement for Employee-Based Field Placement.
- Interns must sign a waiver that agrees to advise the Director of Field in writing if employment at the agency is interrupted by (layoff, termination, or any type of reprimand) this must be provided within 24 hours of action.
- Any interruption of employment that requires the intern to seek new employment will lead to the intern repeating the entire process to vet a new EBFP. If this cannot be provided the intern will seek placement outside of their place of employment.
Provide a weekly schedule that will outline the days and number of hours per day that the intern will dedicate to the internship. The intern must work 28 hours weekly toward the internship. Intern cannot exceed 40 hours a week.
