Consider the following ethical dilemma: The CEO asks you to assess the job satisfaction of employees. Therefore, you send employees an electronic survey, with a statement confirming that individual results will be kept confidential. Upon reviewing the results, you see that several female employees have provided qualitative comments about sexual harassment they endured at the hands of the CEO. What would you do? Would you break confidentiality and inform the Director of Human Resources? Would you confront the CEO directly? Or would you do nothing to maintain confidentiality?
